<BR>The British charity St John's Ambulance has begun implementation of a training programme jointly with Komzdrav, the health committee. Trainees will teach first aid to city citizens. The British government provided equipment and training literature to the value of 85,000 pounds sterling. Training will take place at the St Petersburg medical centre NUMTs. Trainees from the police, secondary schools, medical establishments and city colleges will be taught for seven weeks starting on 1 March.
