<BR>A wide range of exhibitions has opened this year's season of exhibitions by joint-stock company Lenexpo. On 2 February, four international exhibitions instantaneously opened at the Lenexpo complex on Vasilievsky Island. Two of them, Rosprodtorg-99 and Modern Packaging and Design-99, covering wholesale food, compliment each other. The organisers of the former are the RF Agriculture and Food Ministry, the city administration, the St Petersburg Food Corporation and the Baltic Trading House. The second exhibition opened with the support of the specialist magazine 'Tara I Upakovka', and the association Soyuzpak. More than 80 Russian and Commonwealth companies are participating in Rosprodtorg-99. Modern Packaging and Design has approximately the same number of exhibitors, from around the world.
