More than 30 local manufacturing enterprises are to exhibit their wares at a permanent exhibition and information centre in the town of Hamin.
<BR>More than 30 local manufacturing enterprises are to exhibit their wares at a permanent exhibition and information centre in the town of Hamin.<BR>The centre will open before the end of 1998, as a pilot project for permanently active exhibitions representing city manufacturers abroad.<BR>An agreement on the creation of the Hamin centre will soon be signed by representatives of the St Petersburg and Kumenlaakso province administrations . "In the next two months we will choose founders for the centre, and sources of finance," says Valentin Makarov, deputy chairman of the city administration External Affairs Committee (KVS).<BR>Most of the exhibitors at the centre are small and medium-size businesses, demonstrating new products and hoping to attract investors. They include ZAO Stirlingecomash (ecologically safe power equipment), AO Interbiotek (water filters) and Technopark Technical University.
