The World Bank has allocated $12m for construction and repair of bridges in the Leningrad oblast.
<BR>The World Bank has allocated $12m for construction and repair of bridges in the Leningrad oblast.<BR>The first tender covering three bridges will be held in early June 1998 by the Lenoblast Roads Committee. Two more tenders for contractors will be held in the summer. Around 40 Russian and foreign companies have applied for the first tender. <BR>By the end of 1998, the Roads Committee will present 16 bridges for tender, for which the World Bank has opened a $12m credit line.
