<BR>An international exhibition of sporting goods, The St. Petersburg International Sport&Leisure Show and Sportexpo (SISS), will take place from October 15-18, 1997 in the Mihailovsky Manezh. The sponsors of the exhibition are the British exhibition-committee ITE (the organiser of the huge Moscow exhibition "Sport and Leisure MISS-97") and the Petersburg Restek. The organisers expect that the St. Petersburg sporting exhibition will have nearly 50 exhibitors from 14 different countries. As a result of the Moscow exhibition last year "Sport and Leisure MISS-97" contracts that total $18 million were signed. In Petersburg, the volume of sporting goods sales in 1996 reached $10 million according to the Committee of Physical Culture and Sport.
