Novell's Russian and CIS office has announced that BrainShare Russia '99, a conference for cellphone technology specialists, will be held in St Petersburg on 16-19 June this year.

<BR>Novell's Russian and CIS office has announced that BrainShare Russia '99, a conference for cellphone technology specialists, will be held in St Petersburg on 16-19 June this year. <BR>The conference has previously been held in Moscow, while St Petersburg has until now been favoured as the main stage for holding the Russian festival of Novell's main competitor, Microsoft Corporation. According to official information, the Northern Capital was chosen for the event because of its "proximity to Europe". <BR>The St Petersburg office of IT, a partner of Novell, will take care of organising the conference. One of the key themes of the event is expected to be the year 2000 problem. There will be around 400 conference participants.
